The record stores with low sales margins and a lot of titles have taught us to trim order quantity and inventory turnover. Bookstores have taught us how to measure customer behavior, find different tastes and how to find an accurate product range. The general dealer has taught us storage of merchandises without the growth of administration and other overhead costs. The electronics business and capital goods industry has taught us handling of goods, unique entity with serial numbers and exact valuation of stock. We have chosen to build our system from scratch. New technologies like Windows Presentation Foundation and the Starcounter object oriented RAM-database permits extraordinary new opportunities.
